Position Summary:

Description:

Responsible for:

Leading all fundraising activities for the organization while creating a Culture of Philanthropy throughout the organization. Demonstrating a high degree of ethics and integrity on a daily basis. Planning, implementing and administering the Planned Giving Program for the NAM Endowment Fund, Inc. in addition in partnership with the CEO, this position is responsible for all fundraising and development activities. The successful candidate will help forge new relationships to build NAM’s visibility, impact, and financial resources. The Chief Advancement Officer will design and implement a comprehensive plan for developing key external alliances by cultivating individual, corporate and philanthropic support.

Description:

Fund Development & Planned Giving Duties

  • Developing annual strategies for identification, cultivation, and solicitation of fund development, Major Gifts & Planned Giving prospects along with aggressively marketing the Gift Planning Program.
  • Conducting donor prospect research and subsequently leading the effort for making regular ongoing donor prospect contacts.
  • Maintaining accurate files on current fund development, Major & Planned Giving donors and donor prospects with documented contact details.
  • Leading and stewarding the Gift Planning Program’s Legacy Society which is comprised of identified Planned Giving donors.
  • Working with President & CEO and the Planned Giving Committee of the NAM Endowment Fund board on Planned Gift issues and Endowment Fund efforts.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Must possess excellent planning, fundraising, administration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prefer a minimum of 10 years of fundraising experience in a non-profit organization, five years of which must be in the position of Planned Giving Officer working with an organization’s endowment fund or foundation.
  • Must be familiar with the estate planning process, along with the various revocable and irrevocable Planned Gifts to include bequests, insurance, retirement assets, trusts, gift annuities, and other gifts which are authorized by the fund’s Gift Acceptance Policy.
  • Experience with RE7, Crescendo or equivalent recordkeeping program, is required.
  • Must be able to work independently with very minimal supervision while keeping the President & CEO informed of all fund development activities.

Sexual Assault Services Coordinator

Description:

  • Respond to sexual assault crisis calls via Hotline and on-call phone protocols.
  • Conduct telephone and face-to-face client intake interviews to determine client eligibility for services.

Position Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
