MOW Program Coordinator

Description:

  • Ensure adequate numbers of volunteers are available and scheduled for weekend meal delivery and ensure volunteer documentation is accurate.
  • Add and remove clients to the routes according to site area using dept. software (Servtracker)
  • Maintain current and substitute volunteer list.
  • Ensure sanitation of related equipment is performed on a daily basis.
  • Work with volunteers on route delivery and enter meals into client track database.
  • Inform case managers of client changes as observed by volunteer driver observations.

  • Participate in all department staff meetings, staff events.
  • Organize distribution of special projects, i.e. Back to School, Christmas, Pet food, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent in social services from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training’ or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel – required.

Sexual Assault Services Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Sexual Assault Services Coordinator is responsible for accompanying sexual assault victims/survivors during hospital interventions, aiding them in obtaining FVC services, and providing support to the FVC client services team. Case-management services will be provided through a client-centric model with a special focus on safety planning. Position will be responsible for professionally interfacing with NAM staff, volunteers, clients, community partners, as well as the FVC client services team. The Sexual Assault Services Coordinator will be functionally responsible for oversight of the policy and procedures of the FVC’s sexual assault program.

Description:

  • Serve as the sexual assault services team point-person for troubleshooting client files, processes and procedures.
  • Facilitate client access to FVC services, NAM services and outside agencies.
  • Providing intervention services during victim/survivor hospital intervention, according to prescribed protocol.
  • Provide back-up support to the FVC Hotline to provide telephone crisis counseling, crisis intervention, client assessment, and community referrals as appropriate.
  • Periodic coverage of the FVC after-hours on-call cell phone to provide telephone crisis counseling, crisis intervention, client assessment, and community referrals as appropriate.
  • Conduct telephone and face-to-face client intake interviews to determine client needs, client eligibility for services, and develop client safety plan.
  • Case-management of FVC sexual assault client cases, as assigned, including safety planning, accompanying client for hospital, law enforcement, and court appointments, when requested, assisting the client to set appropriate goals and re-assess goals when needed.
  • Participate in the monthly review of assigned client files with case managers, volunteers, and interns; including review of file contents, service eligibility, client safety, client goals, and referrals.
  • Actively participate in on-going safety planning with FVC clients and Hotline callers.
  • Staff client concerns with other Key Staff (DV Services Coordinator, Staff Therapist, or FVC Director) including definition of problems, eligibility for services and identifying appropriate referrals.
  • Ensure and protect client confidentiality.
  • Produce statistical and narrative reports, as required by NAM, FVC, or funders.
  • Operate within budgetary guidelines and in compliance with grant funding.
  • Develop working relationships internally and with external agencies.
  • Maintain client files and all relative paperwork per FVC guidelines and policies.
  • Facilitate data entry in NAM’s datatbase(s) and check accuracy.
  • Assist in the training of new staff, volunteers, and student interns.
  • Attend NAM and FVC staff meetings, staff events, community events, and fundraising activities as scheduled.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Three years’ experience working in a social service agency or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must have dependable transportation.

Bilingual Contract Therapist

  • Working with Spanish-speaking adult victims of family violence in individual and family counseling.
