Despite torrential rains hammering the Northwest West Houston area, supporters of Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) enjoyed an evening of “sips and bites” at the second annual Uncorking Wine Party event benefitting NAM programs.
The evening took place Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Citation Oil & Gas and was the first of three Jean & Jewels events to be held this fall.
More than 120 guests enjoyed an intimate evening of live Jazz provided by musical guests, The Freedom Jazz Trio, wine provided by Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, bites provided by Catering to Your Tastebuds and sweets from La Madeleine, TREAT! and Zoës Kitchen.
“NAM truly has the best supporters,” said Carole Little, President & CEO of NAM. “The weather had us worried about folks not being able to attend but they came full of energy, full of passion for NAM’s mission and had an amazing time.”
Sponsors for this year’s event include Catering To Your Tastebuds, Cheryl and Bill Sessions, Citation Oil and Gas, Cynthia and Rick Foley, Golden Mushroom Florist, Jackie and Pat Riley, Jayne and Matt Iverson, La Madeline, Pam and Bob Hughes, Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, The Woodlands Waterway Marriott, TREAT! and Zoës Kitchen.
