Donating your gently used clothing to Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) is now easier than ever before! Seven area congregations now have donation bins on their property:

  • Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Community, 18511 Klein Church Rd., Spring, TX 77379
  • Kinsmen Lutheran Church, 12100 Champion Forest Dr., Houston, TX 77066
  • Lakewood United Methodist Church, 11330 Louetta, Houston, TX 77070
  • Northwest Bible Church, 5503 Fellowship Lane, Spring, TX 77379
  • Northwoods Presbyterian Church, 3320 FM 1960 West, Houston, TX 77068
  • Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1612 Meadow Edge Dr., Spring, TX 77388
  • Wildewood Baptist Church, 5110 Louetta, Spring, TX 77379

“We are so grateful to the congregations for hosting our donation bins,” says Carole Little, NAM President & CEO. “This will allow our donors to drop off items closer to their own neighborhoods.”

NAM accepts gently used clothing and housewares, which it sells in three Treasures of the Heart resale shops. Proceeds from the shop help to fund NAM programs and services. NAM will continue to accept clothing donations at its 15555 Kuykendahl headquarters, as well as its Treasures of the Heart stores at 2327 F.M. 1960 at Kuykendahl and 10505 Jones Road at Fallbrook.

Northwest Assistance Ministries is a non-profit, community-based social service agency that strives to meet basic human needs through Neighbors Helping Neighbors. NAM provides assistance in areas such as food, shelter, health, education, safety, and financial education. In fiscal year 2012-2013, NAM touched the lives of over 138,000 people through its many programs and services.
