Janna, was a struggling single mother that suddenly lost her job and childcare. 

NAM was able to immediately assist with food and clothing for Janna and her children. Janna was also facing eviction, as she had fallen behind on rent payments. NAM was able to pay two months of rent and utilities, giving Janna some much-needed relief and a sense of security.

With the assistance she received from NAM, Janna has been able to continue her education and is on track to earn her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston-Downtown.
